The city. It’s not as “gritty” as everyone makes it out to be (think the ’80s, though there are exceptions in respective boroughs) nor is it a paradise of lights tourists come here and expect to see. It’s a rushed life where slowing down means being trampled on. (Sometimes, quite literally.)
